Pippa chats to Colin about ‘growing’ talent

At last week’s Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) National Plant Show, radio and TV personality and gardener, Pippa Greenwood invited our wonderful Garden Centre Sales Manager, Colin Stanley on stage to chat about young people in horticulture.

Young Grower of the Year Award

The pair discussed our equally wonderful Production Manager, Kyle Ross and his Young Grower (under 35) of the Year Award 2023-2024.

Kyle was presented with the Award at last year’s HTA Conference in October.

Colin was there for the presentation and was able, as Kyle’s ‘work Dad’, to speak about the event and what the award meant to Kyle.

He also explained how important it is to help young people get into horticulture as a career and how vital it was to nurture, support and assist our industry’s talent, so they can develop and grow.
