Production - Transplants

Job Summary

This role reports directly to the Transplant Production Manager, working with a team of technicians and will be responsible for ensuring the Wyevale transplant department is working to the guidelines set out relating to production, harvest and order fulfilment. This is an outdoor role based at our Ledbury site.

Essential Job Functions:

· Seed preparation and sowing

· Crop planting

· Aftercare, including irrigation, weeding & feeding

· Crop spraying, tractor boom and knapsack

· Lifting & grading

· Order assembly and packing

· Lorry loading & unloading

· Routine farm maintenance tasks

· Record keeping

· Staff supervision

Qualifications

· Tractor driving & set up and use of tractor mounted implements

· Forklift operation

· Spray qualifications

· Ability to work effectively alone or in teams as required

· To follow company Health and safety and environmental policies

Salary: £10.92 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
