Reporting directing to the Managing Director and working alongside the senior team to develop and promote the Wyevale brand identity. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, developing sales strategies, and fostering strong client relationships. Playing a key role in delivering profitable sales based on our own production and sales targets ensuring that the Wyevale brand continues to set industry standards. In addition, to support and rationalise our trading operations and build a platform for future profitable growth, strengthening and supporting the sales team.To lead, manage and motivate the sales team, offering direction and instruction.- To build future sales capacity and capability through team development and system improvement
- To oversee and support our trading activities
- Produce and deliver on sales and trading budgets – Provide a predictable weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast
- Ensuring we keep the balance of products and markets optimised for profitability and sustainability, seeking simplification of the business model.
- To assist in range development through analysis and research of changing demand and trend forecasting – Reviewing, scrutinising, and developing operational process flow
Background
- Strong entrepreneurial skills and natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation
- Natural leader of people with excellent managerial and motivational skills
- Relevant industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the market
- Experience in providing insightful analysis to optimize decision making
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities to create growth and margin enhancement
- Strong financial modelling skills, including use of pivot tables and manipulation of significant data
