Production Line Worker

We are looking for someone to join our team. Your main role will be working on a production line preparing plants for despatch to Garden Centres.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Reliable with excellent time keeping and punctuality.
Experience of working on a production line.
Physically fit, the role involves being on your feet all day.
Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Motivated, as the role involves meeting targets for KPIs.
A strong team player, with the ability to work effectively in small groups.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring plants are labelled correctly.
Flexible regarding working hours: typical hours are Monday–Friday, 06:50–15:30 during the summer months and 07:50–16:30 during the winter months. Overtime may be required during busy periods, sometimes at short notice, including weekends and bank holidays.
Flexible regarding work tasks: during quieter periods, you will be asked to assist in other departments, such as weeding, potting and trimming plants.
Willing to drive a tractor (training will be provided).
Willing to drive ATV’s (training will be provided).
Previous horticultural experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
